Invest in a Strong Future—for Girls.
With a large membership of more than 60,000 girl and adult members, expansion of leadership development programs, affordable program and training fees, and member/volunteer resources, additional financial assistance is required for River Valleys.
To continue the tradition of serving all girls – regardless of financial barriers – Girl Scouts relies on generous individual gifts and Family Fundraising Campaign donations from members, as well as foundation, corporate, and government grants to help support the mission of building girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place.
The annual $10 membership fee does not support Girl Scouts of Minnesota and Wisconsin River Valleys; it is sent directly to Girl Scouts of the USA for national program development and activity insurance.
United Way
Girl Scouts of Minnesota and Wisconsin River Valleys partners with United Way organizations throughout the Twin Cities metropolitan area, southern Minnesota, and western Wisconsin to serve girls in its community. This partnership includes receiving United Way funding and providing evaluations from Girl Scout programs to them.
