Programs and Resources

What do Girl Scouts do? Practically anything a girl would like to do!

The Girl Scout experience is girl-driven, which means it reflects the ever-changing needs and interests of participating girls in kindergarten through grade twelve. Cookies and Camp are just two of the hundreds of programs and activities that help girls develop important life skills, and values such as leadership, confidence, and determination.

Girls are offered opportunities in a variety of focus areas, including leadership and self esteem, community outreach and education, environmental awareness, financial literacy, health and wellness, science, technology, engineering and math, the arts, and travel.  To make registration as easy as possible, River Valleys has created a council sponsored program event registration procedures document.

2007-2008 Council Sponsored Program Events

Don’t forget, there are still 2007-2008 Council Sponsored Program Events available for girls to enjoy.  To register for one of these exciting programs, download the 2007-2008 registration form and mail or fax it to the council office.
