Girl Scout Cookie Program Activity … Run by girls, for girls
The Girl Scout Cookie Program Activity is America’s leading business and economic literacy program for girls. Run by girls, for girls, the activity helps girls discover new skills, connect through teamwork, and take action in their communities, making Girl Scouting the premier leadership development experience for girls.
Through the annual Cookie Program Activity girls have a world of fun while making a world of difference. River Valleys and Little Brownie Bakers invite you to “Imagine if...” in 2009 as the girls who participate discover their business skills, connect with the community around them, and take action to make real the “Imagine If” goals their troops set.
Girl Scouts are encouraged to set two kinds of cookie goals:
- What can we do for fun and learning with our cookie proceeds?
- What can we do with our cookie proceeds to help others?
What’s New for 2009?
- Singular River Valleys’ troop proceeds and recognitions and awards plan
- Free program grade-level Cookie Program Activity meeting kits for troops
- New Girl Scout Cookie: Dulce de Leche
- Girl Scout Daisies can participate in the annual Cookie Program Activity
- “C.E.O. (Cookie Executive Officer): A Business Literacy Program” for Girl Scout Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors to earn additional cookie proceeds
