Have the best summer at Girl Scout Camp!  With several beautiful resident and troop camp properties across Minnesota and Wisconsin, girls can discover nature and wildlife, connect with others at camp, and take action as they build new skills and talents at camp.  Girl Scouts offers more than a hundred different camp program sessions ranging from wilderness tripping, canoeing, and horses to international cooking, drama, arts, and sports.

Archery at Elk River

Camp Elk River
Located near the city of Elk River, Minn., Camp Elk River offers a resident camp program for girls going into grades 2 through 12. You can choose between four or six-day programs.

Facilities include: cabins and air conditioned dorms, modern restrooms and showers, dining hall, sand bottomed chlorinated pool, changing facilities, store, stables, barn and equestrian center, low ropes initiatives, and high ropes elements.

Camp Greenwood
Located near Buffalo, Minn., Camp Greenwood's facilities include: sleeping cabins, dining hall, air conditioned lodge, modern bath houses and facilities, store, swim front on Lake Charlotte, boating front on Lake Moore, and low ropes initiatives.

Lakamaga Sign Post

Camp Lakamaga
Located on Big Marine Lake just outside of Forest Lake, Minn., Camp Lakamaga offers resident camp experiences for girls going into grades 1 through 8. You can choose between three or six-day programs. Other programs are available throughout the summer for individual troops, families, or groups.

Facilities include: year-round cabins and troop houses, yurts, platform tents, and shower facilities. There is a scenic waterfront, a sports field, and an adventure course.

Camp Northwoods
Located near Iron River, Wisc. (approximately one hour east of Duluth, Minn.), Camp Northwoods offers a more rustic setting and has six, 11, or 20-day sessions for campers going into grades 4 through graduating seniors. Troop camping and troop canoe and backpack trips are also available.

Facilities include: cabins, troop houses and platform tents. There is an on-site horse stable, adventure course, archery range, shower facilities, nature trails, and private lake.

Camp Sanderson
Located on the shores of Nest Lake near Spicer, Minn., Camp Sanderson's facilities include: tent cabins, shelters and a dining hall. There is an onsite archery range, nature/pond study area, nature trails, a beach waterfront, and boating activities.

Camp Singing Hills
Located just outside of Waterville, Minn. (25 minutes west of Faribault), Camp Singing Hills offers a resident camp program for girls going into grades 1 through 12. You can choose between three, four, six, or 13-day programs.

Facilities include: cabins, platform tents, a shower house, a central dining hall, archery range, adventure course, and a beach waterfront on Fish Lake.

Camp Whispering Hills
Located in Rushford, Minn., Camp Whispering Hills offers a summer resident camp experience for girls going into grades 1 through 12. You can choose between two, three or six-day programs.

Facilities include: cabins with flush toilets and a dining hall. There is an on-site archery range, horse stable, nature trails, and swimming pool.

Staff-led Day Camps
Girl Scout day camps offer a wide variety of activites including hiking, swimming, drama, nature study, crafts, sports, games, Try-its, badges, and Interest Project. The Rochester Service Center offers staff-led day camps for girls going into grades 1 through 6.

Camp runs between three to five days, and may include some evening or weekend activities. They are held at different locations, including Girl Scout camps and local parks. Similar to Girl Scout resident camps, girls register for day camps as individuals and are placed into camper units by grade groups.
